Attempto Racing best Audi team after twelve hours

At the halfway point of the Spa 24 Hours, the number 99 R8 LMS is the best Audi in the field. Marius Zug holds 13th position for Attempto Racing and is also the second-best driver in the Silver Cup classification. He is trailed by Audi Sport driver Frédéric Vervisch, who shares car number 46 from Audi Sport Team WRT with Nico Müller and Valentino Rossi. Their car is one lap down after sliding into the gravel trap once in the tenth hour of the race. Behind Vervisch is fellow Audi Sport driver Charles Weerts in 15th position. The number 32 car from Audi Sport Team WRT lost time due to a total of two time penalties and a puncture in the first half of the race. Number 25 from Audi Sport Team Saintéloc dropped back to position 29 after a radiator was repaired due to an accident. The race phase from 2.11 to 3 a.m. was marked by a red flag because the guard rails had to be repaired after an accident.
