    Fourth place and class victory for Audi Sport at Bathurst

    Audi Sport customer racing set the pace at the Bathurst 12 Hour with its local teams in all free practice sessions, qualifying and the top-10 shootout. The race started with a remarkable double lead for the Audi R8 LMS. However, a puncture and a two-minute time penalty deprived the team of any chance of a podium result. For Team Supabarn, on the other hand, a dream came true. The team had to fear for its entry after a serious practice accident, but in the end it managed a commanding class victory in the amateur classification.

    Changed omens for Audi Sport and its competitors in the Bathurst 12 Hour race

    The 2022 endurance season in Australia begins under new auspices. The rules of the Bathurst 12 Hour from May 13 to 15 state that the previous purely professional driver lineups are a thing of the past. Instead, professional race drivers will be racing alongside amateurs at the breathtaking Mount Panorama. Six of the seven Audi cars entered this year will start in this Pro-Am category. Another R8 LMS will take part in the Am classification. The four professionals Nathanaël Berthon, Ricardo Feller, Kelvin van der Linde and Markus Winkelhock represent the Audi Sport brand at the eleventh start at Bathurst.

    Audi Sport concludes 2021 season with sixth Intercontinental title

    After the pandemic forced a postponement of the IGTC final race from December 4, 2021, to February 5, 2022, Audi Sport customer racing concluded the 2021 season with another title success: in 2016, 2017 and 2018, Audi Sport was already the best manufacturer in the only global GT3 racing series, and now the company has left four other sports car brands behind by winning the title at Kyalami.

    Title chase in South Africa: Audi ready to pounce

    Audi Sport customer racing travels to the finale of the Intercontinental GT Challenge (IGTC) with the best chances. In the only worldwide race series for GT3 sports cars, Audi leads the manufacturers standings with a 36-point advantage. In the drivers standings, three Audi Sport drivers share second place and two others are third in the standings. As a result, the brand has the best chances of further improving its record of five titles so far in the IGTC from December 2 to 4.

    Spectacular Audi Sport win in America

    Audi Sport customer racing clinched its first victory of the season in the Intercontinental GT Challenge together with Audi Sport Team Saintéloc in the USA. The hard-fought victory at the Indianapolis 8 Hours was already the third overall success of the Audi R8 LMS in an international endurance race in North America since 2017. Numerous incidents, penalties and caution phases characterized a competition in which the three Audi Sport teams were not spared either.
