    Mobility goes smart and individual: Audi at CES 2020

    At the 2020 Consumer Electronics Show (CES), Audi will once again display exciting exhibits – from futuristic vision vehicles to technologies ready for series production. In doing so, the premium brand is defining the digital experience of the future. CES is one of the world’s biggest specialized fairs for consumer electronics and is considered to be an indicator of future topics. It will take place from January 7 to 10, 2020, in Las Vegas.

    Experiencing the history of the Salzburg Festival with Audi

    For the 100th anniversary of the Salzburg Festival in 2020 – and for its 25th anniversary as main sponsor – Audi is inviting festival audiences to take an eventful trip through the story of the festival: on the back seat of an Audi e-tron (combined electrical consumption in kWh/100 km*: 26.4 -22.9 (WLTP); 24.6 -23.7 (NEDC), combined CO2 emissions in g/km: 0 (0 g/mi)), passengers drive to several places that have played a significant part in the history of the festival. The journey uses a technology developed by Audi to transport visitors into three-dimensional worlds by means of a virtual-reality headset and to integrate the motion of the vehicle into the experience in real time. During the festival, Audi will offer about 1,000 experience rides.

    Audi, the city of Ingolstadt and Telekom cooperate on 5G technology

    Audi and Deutsche Telekom are entering into a pioneering 5G technology partnership together with the city of Ingolstadt. This was announced by the three partners at the signing of a memorandum of understanding in Ingolstadt on Wednesday. The goal is to use the new 5G technology to make urban mobility safer, more digital and more sustainable.

    Audi promotes EEBUS Standard for Intelligent Connection of Electric Cars and Buildings

    Audi is actively involved in shaping the digital energy world of the future. The brand with the four rings is involved in the EEBUS initiative to promote networking across manufacturer and industry boundaries. The Audi e-tron (combined electric power consumption in kWh/100 km (62.1 mi)*: 26.2 - 22.6 (WLTP); 24.6 - 23.7 (NEFZ); CO2 emissions combined in g/km (g/mi): 0) is the first electric car whose charging system uses the new communication standard. At the “Plugfest E-Mobility” at the Audi plant in Brussels, developers are testing cross-industry compatibility before the EEBUS standard for energy communication is introduced in February.
