A piece of motorsport history: Chassis 20 returns

A chapter of motorsport history is ending: Today, the four leased chassis which Daniel Abt and Lucas di Grassi contested the first four seasons with are returning to Formula E’s umbrella organization in Donington. In the 45 races, the German-Brazilian duo clinched ten victories, 35 podium finishes, five pole positions and nine fastest race laps. In total, Abt and di Grassi covered 7,713 race kilometers and 3,288 laps. The chassis bear numbers 52 and 66 (Daniel Abt) and 20 and 60 (Lucas di Grassi). Chassis 20 was the one in which Lucas di Grassi crossed the finish line as the winner in Formula E’s inaugural race in Beijing on September 13, 2014. Therefore, the series’ founder and CEO, Alejandro Agag, reserved this car for himself.
