Audi at the world premiere of ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’

Audi has been involved in film and theater for many years. Since 2014, Audi has been the principal partner of the Berlinale and has further expanded its partnership with the Berlin International Film Festival. The Audi Short Film Award was initiated in the second year of the partnership. With this film prize, Audi supports both the 20 min|max short film festival, which has taken place annually since 2006, and another short film project that is part of the Audi ArtExperience. And film buffs can also find what they crave at the arthouse theater at Audi Forum Ingolstadt. The cinema has received multiple awards for its exceptional program.

    Audi teams up on Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Endgame for comical digital short featuring Captain Marvel

    Audi and Marvel Studios are back together, this time with a hilarious digital short in anticipation of “Avengers: Endgame.” The video, called “The Debriefing,” follows Brie Larson as Captain Marvel and her re-introduction to society after years away from Earth. The video also features the all-electric Audi e-tron.

    Audi Short Film Award for “Rise”

    The winner of the Audi Short Film Award at the 69th Berlin International Film Festival, with prize money of €20,000, is “Rise” by Bárbara Wagner and Benjamin de Burca. The International Short Film Jury in the Berlinale Shorts section thus honors the signature style of a lively and experimental documentary that puts the spotlight on the texts, music and dance of a group of young People of Color as an act of self-empowerment. They occupy the public space of the subway in Toronto to perform their concept of edutainment.

    Berlinale 2019

    Audi will drive the stars to the red carpet at the 69th Berlin International Film Festival in the Audi e-tron (electricity consumption combined in kWh/100 km: 26.2-22.6* (WLTP), 24.6-23.7 (NEDC); CO2 emissions combined in g/km: 0*). In its sixth season as principal sponsor, Audi and the Berlinale will together welcome visitors to the Audi Berlinale Lounge, to dive into the festival experience directly next to the red carpet. From February 7 to 16, the Berlinale Open House Program will present varied event formats and exciting discussions with visionaries from the fields of film, culture and business on socially relevant trend topics. The Audi Berlinale Lounge is open to filmmakers and journalists as well as festival visitors.

    Berlinale 2018

    Audi has been one of the principal partners of the Berlin International Film Festival since 2014. In December 2016, both Audi and the Berlinale have agreed to continue their successful partnership through 2019. The fifth year of the successful partnership began in November 2017, presenting an Audi Q7 e-tron which will enable Kosslick to drive to all of his meetings in preparation for the 68th Berlinale while maintaining a small carbon footprint.
