Audi has been involved in film and theater for many years. Since 2014, Audi has been the principal partner of the Berlinale and has further expanded its partnership with the Berlin International Film Festival. The Audi Short Film Award was initiated in the second year of the partnership. With this film prize, Audi supports both the 20 min|max short film festival, which has taken place annually since 2006, and another short film project that is part of the Audi ArtExperience. And film buffs can also find what they crave at the arthouse theater at Audi Forum Ingolstadt. The cinema has received multiple awards for its exceptional program.

In the area of theater, Audi and the Ingolstadt City Theater have joined forces in a season partnership that began in the 2013/2014 season. Representatives of the City Theater and Audi work together within this partnership to develop ideas and projects that effectively keep this program vibrant. The new partnership form has enabled implementation of the City Theater’s season opening spectacular and the “Kinderstadt 2016” (Kid City 2016) project.
