Audi A3 Sportback g-tron

Audi offers another drive alternative with the A3 Sportback g-tron*: The five-door compact model can use climate-neutrally produced Audi e-gas as fuel, in addition to fossil-based natural gas. Equipped with a 1.4 TFSI engine producing 81 kW (110 hp), the A3 Sportback g-tron sets standards for efficiency and economy.

    The new Audi A3 – even more attractive and dynamic

    The Audi A3 offers a broad range of driver assistance systems and motors as well as a sporty exteriour design with dynamic shaped head- and tail lights to our customers. Also built in is the innovative display and control concept Audi virtual cockpit. The A3is available as Sportback, Sedan and Cabriolet. The sporty Version Audi S3* combines high performance and discreet understatement and a substantial feature equipment with high suitability for daily use. With the Audi A3 Sportback g-tron* and the Audi A3 Sportback e-tron*, the A3-series offers the most diverse range of engines in the premium compact segment. *The fuel consumption and emissions values of all models available on the German market and named in this text are listed in the last chapter of this document.

    Audi A3 Sportback g-tron: Starting the New Model Year with a Longer CNG Range

    The Audi A3 Sportback g-tron (CNG consumption in kg/100 km: 3.5; combined CO2 emissions in g/km (CNG): 96–95*) is starting the new model year with a technology update. Thanks to its increased tank volume, the compact model can cover around 400 kilometers (248.5 miles) (WLTP cycle) in gas operation. Presales at dealerships in Germany will kick off on March 7. The basic price will be EUR 30,600.

    The Audi A3 Sportback g-tron (CNG consumption in kg/100 km: 3.6 – 3.3*; combined fuel consumption in l/100 km: 5.5 – 5.1* (42.8 – 46.1 US mpg); combined CO2 emissions in g/km (CNG): 98 – 89* (157.7 – 143.2 g/mi); combined CO2 emissions in g/km (gasoline): 128 – 117* (206.0 – 188.3 g/mi)) with compressed natural gas (CNG) drive was awarded the first-ever rating of 1+ by the automotive publication Auto Bild after completing 100,000 kilometers of endurance testing. This ranking also impressively confirms the quality of the climate-friendly g-tron technology, which Audi introduced in 2013. The Audi A4 Avant (CNG consumption in kg/100 km: 4.4 – 3.8*; combined fuel consumption in l/100 km: 6.5 – 5.5* (36.2 – 42.8 US mpg); combined CO2 emissions in g/km (CNG): 117 – 102* (188.3 – 164.2 g/mi); combined CO2 emissions in g/km: 147 – 126* (236.6 – 202.8 g/mi)) and the Audi A5 Sportback (CNG consumption in kg/100 km: 4.3 – 3.8*; combined fuel consumption in l/100 km: 6.4 – 5.6* (36.8 – 42.0 US mpg); combined CO2 emissions in g/km (CNG): 115 – 102* (185.1 – 164.2 g/mi); combined CO2 emissions in g/km (gasoline): 144 – 126* (231.7 – 202.8 g/mi)) models with this drive type will be launched in early summer of 2017.
