Audi driver Randy Pobst “half time champion”
Audi driver Randy Pobst continued his series of podium finishes in round 5 of the SPEED World Challenge at Road Atlanta (USA).
Finishing third, the North American extended his championship lead in the GT class and is also “half time champion” of the series. “The Champion team is doing a terrific job and continually improving the Audi RS 6,” praised Pobst. Meanwhile, team-mate Michael Galati´s bad luck continued. After a testing accident the reigning champion had to switch to last year’s S4. Qualifying a strong fourth, Galati had to be content with 13th position in the race following a problem with the rear axle.
