Audi Sport customer racing Asia cooperates with Phoenix Racing
Audi R8 LMS ultra (Phoenix Racing), Marchy Lee/Shaun Thong/Markus Winkelhock
Phoenix Racing is set to compete in the Blancpain Endurance Series with a European-Asiatic driver line-up in an Audi R8 LMS ultra. Marchy Lee and Shaun Thong, both from Hong Kong, race together with Markus Winkelhock, last year’s winner of the 24-hour races at Nürburgring and Spa. Audi Sport customer racing Asia expands its driver development program for young Asiatic talents in the cooperation with Ernst Moser’s German Audi team. Shaun Thong also contests the Audi Sport TT Cup this year.
