Audi on the second row of the grid at Kyalami

Audi has clinched the second row of the grid in pole shootout qualifying at the finale of the Intercontinental GT Challenge in South Africa. Christopher Haase managed the fourth-best time in the Audi R8 LMS of Audi Sport Team Car Collection in the final qualifying session at Kyalami on Friday. He shares the cockpit with his two Audi Sport teammates Mattia Drudi and Patric Niederhauser. Second-best Audi in qualifying was the number 32 car of Audi Sport Team WRT. The two Audi Sport drivers Frédéric Vervisch and Mirko Bortolotti managed to jump to seventh place together with Charles Weerts. The average of the best times of all three drivers counted. Also on the fourth row of the grid is the sister car of the Belgian team with the Audi Sport driver combination of Kelvin van der Linde, Dries Vanthoor and Markus Winkelhock. The three privateer drivers Dennis Marschall, Martin Lechman and Milan Dontje qualified for grid position twelve in the private Audi R8 LMS fielded by Car Collection Motorsport.
