In heightened form: the new Audi A3 allstreet
Increased ground clearance and larger wheels as the basis for a distinctive off-road look Digitally connected with lots of connect services, app integration, and functions on demand Individually selectable daytime running light signatures and new interior design elements
The Audi A3 allstreet is the distinctive crossover in the A3 family. With its characteristic off-road look, three centimeters more ground clearance than the A3 Sportback, and the raised seating position, the vehicle offers an SUV-like driving experience combined with high functionality. Thanks to the seamless integration of apps into the infotainment system, the ability to flexibly add vehicle functions, as well as a comprehensive range of connect services, the A3 allstreet is digitally connected.
“At very first glance, the Audi A3 allstreet stands out from the rest of the A3 family,” says Stephan Fahr-Becker, Team Leader of Exterior Design at AUDI AG. “As a crossover in the premium compact class, it has a completely unique look. The aim was to use specific design elements to emphasize the vehicle’s higher ground clearance even more.” Off-road character for a confident look This goal was achieved, among other things, through a vertical emphasis of the matte black Singleframe. The large octagonal radiator grille with its honeycomb structure sits higher than on the A3 Sportback, bringing the crossover closer to the Q models. Unique to the allstreet, three grooves at the front and rear enhance the off-road character. At the front, the beading is integrated into the distinctive spoiler lip, which are reminiscent of a skid plate, and at the rear into the diffuser as part of the robustly designed rear bumper. The rear also echoes the design of the trapezoidal air intakes: Their high-contrast double frame in Selenite Silver and Manhattan Gray creates a strong contrast, lending the A3 allstreet a powerful appearance. The same applies to the dark rocker panel trims and the trim in the lower door areas.
Maximum efficiency in ample space: the new Audi Q7 TFSI e quattro and Q8 TFSI e quattro
The operating strategy switches to predictive efficiency assist (PEA) in these situations. In addition to navigation data, this driver assistance system uses the distance to the vehicle in front to decide between coasting with the TFSI switched off and recuperation, i.e., recovering kinetic energy and converting it into electrical energy. In thrust phases, the Q7 and Q8 TFSI e can recover up to 25 kW of power and feed it back into the lithium-ion battery. Operating as a generator, the electric motor performs all light to moderate braking up to 0.3 g, corresponding to more than 90 percent of all deceleration events in everyday driving. The hydraulic wheel brakes only need to be used for heavy braking. The hybrid SUVs achieve up to 80 kW of recuperation power during braking. When the optional adaptive cruise assist with radar cruise control is active, the PEA helps with deceleration and fuel-saving acceleration. If turned off, the Audi virtual cockpit or optional head-up display indicates to the driver when they should take their foot off the right pedal. Detail icons such as intersections, city signs, or vehicles ahead illustrate the reason for the reduction in speed. Optimized equipment range to meet every need High-intensity LED headlights light up the road as standard; Matrix LED headlights are available as an option. Innovative HD Matrix LED headlights with Audi laser light as an additional high beam for a significantly increased beam range are available as a further option. New for the top-of-the-range headlights are digital daytime running light signatures. They give the partially electric Q7 and Q8 a characteristic and unmistakable appearance, allowing the user to select one of four individual light signatures via the MMI. For the first time, the vehicles also come optionally with largely digitalized OLED rear lights, which also have digital light signatures.

The Audi A3 heads into the 2025 model year with a sportier look, new design elements, and digital features. In addition to selectable daytime running light signatures, the ability to flexibly purchase vehicle functions any time ensures a high degree of personalization. In addition, the standard equipment has been significantly expanded and new materials have been used for enhanced comfort.
Sportier than ever: the exterior More dynamic – more progressive – more emotional: This is how the A3 Sportback and Sedan present themselves following the model upgrade. The hexagonal, frameless Singleframe features a new structure that is noticeably flatter and wider. It dominates the front end and, in addition to the large angular side air intakes, clearly symbolizes the compact models’ sporty character. The striking front spoiler connects the two and makes the Audi A3 appear lower. The same is true of the rear, which is sportier than ever with a new bumper and distinctive diffuser. The progressive design elements are particularly effective with the S line exterior, as they are partly inspired by the RS models. The expressive exterior colors District Green, Ascari Blue, and Progressive Red further strengthen the sporty look. Selectable: up to four different daytime running light signatures Like the redesigned Singleframe, the lighting design is significantly thinner, emphasizing the width of the Audi A3 series. The 24-pixel elements that make up the digital daytime running lights in the LED and Matrix LED headlights are now arranged in three rows on the upper edge of the housing.

L is for long-distance – Audi Q6L e-tron
Audi presents a dedicated variant from the Q6 e-tron family for its largest market, China, at Auto China in Beijing Audi CEO Gernot Döllner: "With the Q6L e-tron, we are bringing a tailor-made offering for our customers in China" The Q6L e-tron is the first PPE model to be built in the new factory in Changchun
The Audi Q6 e-tron series are the first production models on the Premium Platform Electric (PPE), marking the next step in the company's transformation into a provider of premium electric mobility. At the Beijing Auto Show 2024, the brand with the four rings is presenting a tailored variant for the Chinese market - the Audi Q6L e-tron.
The electrically powered car will be shown as an exterior model at the spring motor show in the Chinese capital; the series version will then make its public debut in the fourth quarter of 2024. Like other PPE models for the Chinese market, the Audi Q6L e-tron will be locally produced in a new factory in Changchun. The first deliveries to customers will take place in 2025. The Audi Q6L e-tron is defined by impressive driving and charging performance, excellent efficiency, and an even greater range than the global model. The wheelbase, longer by 105 millimeters, also allows the installation of a larger battery. With it, CLTC ranges of more than 700 kilometers will be possible. The letter “L” in the name signals the long wheelbase, which is also becoming the hallmark of outstanding long-distance capability. Audi has been building “L” models with an extended wheelbase for the Chinese market for decades. The A6L and A4L are the best-known large-volume versions, alongside the Q5L, A8L, and A8L Horch. Now, Audi is adding the L model to the Q6 e-tron family - providing even more space, comfort, and everyday usability. Together with the new interior design philosophy, the Q6L e-tron is creating a very exclusive and generous space for passengers in the market.
Strong in design, comfort, and technology: The revised Audi Q7
In addition – as in the Audi A8, Q8, and Q5 – the digital OLED rear lights have a proximity indication feature in conjunction with the assistance systems: When other road users approach the stationary Q7 from behind to within two meters (6.6 ft), the control units automatically activate all of the digital OLED segments. Additional functions include dynamic turn signals as well as various coming home and leaving home sequences that match each digital light signature. New decors, colors, and wheels expand the equipment range With the latest product upgrade, Audi has once again refined the equipment range for the Q7. The seams on the seat trim in the base model now come standard and in a contrasting gray color. There are also nine decorative inlays available to choose from. New in the equipment range: Natural Elm Burl Silver for the base model, Matte Carbon Twill, and Matte Brushed Aluminum with linear embossing in silver for the Q7 with the S line sport package, as well as for the SQ7 TFSI. Three new finishes are available that allow customers to further personalize the Q7. For a particularly sporty appearance, the range of metallic finishes now includes Sakhir Gold, Ascari Blue, and Chili Red. But customers can look forward to more new features in more than just finishes: The wheel range offers a choice of five new 20” to 22” wheel designs. Black Metallic, Gray Silk Matte with glossy black inlays or diamond-cut Black Metallic are available for 21-inch wheels and larger. As part of the model update, Audi is also expanding the range of apps: For the first time, passengers can directly use popular apps from third-party providers (for example Spotify or Amazon music). Regular software updates and a constantly expanding range of apps make for even greater individualization of the infotainment system.
Italdesign: More than five decades at the forefront
In recent times, Italdesign has become a systems developer for automotive electronics such as infotainment, ADAS (advanced driver-assistance systems), and high-voltage battery systems. The company is thus able to provide support in solutions for software-defined vehicles (SDV). The company, headquartered in Moncalieri (Turin, Italy) and part of the Volkswagen Group since 2010, currently employs 1,231 people in Italy, Germany, Spain, China, and the United States. As of 2023, Italdesign has been certified “Top Employer Italy” for the eighth year in a row. In October of 2023, to celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of the Asso di Picche concept first unveiled at the 1973 Frankfurt Motor Show, the company unveiled a digital design concept for an electric 2+2 coupé that translates the original model into the future. It is called the Italdesign Asso di Picche in Movimento. Climb-E, a door-to-door mobility machine, premiered at CES in Las Vegas at the beginning of the year, went on an international tour throughout 2023. Italdesign’s engineering department, with its competencies in electrics and electronics, as well as in whole vehicle integration, constantly grew in 2023. The number of Audi turn-key projects, called "captain model projects", that place high requirements on the company strongly increased too. This growth is set to boost interest in Italdesign services from other brands of the Volkswagen Group, help optimize development times and costs, and can also open new opportunities for collaboration with other companies. Production in the Preseries Center has also been working on turn-key projects, thus enabling Italdesign to cover the entire project scope. Competence transformation and investment have been focused on ensuring close-to-series production to support preseries phases, delivering fully testable objects. In addition, the company’s skills in the vehicle pre-startup and vehicle startup sectors expanded in 2023 as well.
