How the interior of the Audi Q6e-tron applies the brand’s new design philosophy in series production
Designed from the inside out: The interior of the new Audi Q6e-tron model series is tailored more closely than ever to the user’s needs and has been reimagined accordingly. For example, the three-dimensional, high-contrast design deliberately places elements in the foreground or background, creating a three-dimensional spatial architecture with aesthetics and ergonomics perfectly tuned to the occupants. The Audi Q6e-tron is the first model series based on the newly developed Premium Platform Electric (PPE) and the new E3 electronics architecture. Both serve as the basis for rethinking the interior’s design and range of functions. Technology and aesthetics are in perfect balance in the Audi Q6e-tron. For Audi, shaping the future is an expression of attitude. Nowhere is this attitude as palpable as in the brand’s concept cars. With the Audi skysphere, Audi grandsphere andAudi urbansphere concepts, Audi is illustrating its vision of progressive luxury.
The word “sphere” in the names emphasizes that the inner space – the interior – will be granted heightened importance in the mobility of the future. The interior will become the foundation for design and technology, turning the vehicle into a sphere where the passengers can enjoy life andexperiences while on the go – a third living space.
For Audi, this includes a comprehensive ecosystem of automotive services: communications or relaxation, work or retreat in privacy – the car is transforming from a mere automobile into an experience device. With the sphere series, Audi is showing off its vision of the electric premium mobility of the future.
Audi activesphere concept (2022) Audi activesphere concept – this is the name of the fourth model in the family of concept cars that Audi has been introducing since August 2021. Not only do they all have electric drives, but they’re also designed to be capable of automated driving. This technical layout gives rise to entirely new designs, especially of the interiors and the offerings for those on board to use their time productively or just relax. Audi’s sphere concept cars collectively showcase the vision of the premium mobility of tomorrow.
Audi urbansphere concept (2022) Systematically designed from the inside out, Audi has unveiled plans for the Audi urbansphere concept car. Designers and engineers initially created the Audi urbansphere for use in traffic-dense Chinese megacities, although the concept is also suitable for any other metropolitan center in the world. In these urban areas, where personal space is in particularly short supply, the concept car offers the largest interior space of anyAudi to date.
The Audi RS 4 Avant, whether with a biturbo V6 or naturally aspirated V8 engine, has always stood for exceptional performance and first-class everyday practicality - also thanks to all-wheel drive. The Audi RS 5 followed in 2010 with an identical drive system but a different focus. The Coupé, and later also the Sportback, present themselves with progressive lines that serve as a contrast to the RS 4 Avant. The approach of both model series always remains the same: experience dynamics anew time and again!

Range, charging performance, and in-car display are among the decisive factors in fulfilling this basic need.
The Audi TechDay Charging Experience will show how we give our customers an integrated experience through technical expertise, a sophisticated battery concept, and a reliable remaining range display. It begins in our battery testing center in Gaimersheim and our know-how in the design, development, and control of battery cells. To give customers a taste of premium charging, the Audi charging hub in Nuremberg will demonstrate that the future belongs to reservable high-power charging in urban spaces. For that reason, we are planning additional sites. Finally, customers will experience first-hand through the remaining range display in our e-tron models that reliability is our top priority and an intelligent algorithm makes all the difference.

An ideal basis for planning: Range display in Audi electric cars gives a reliable picture Whether you’re driving around the corner, commuting to work, or going on vacation: When you’re on the road in an electric car, reliable range indications form the basis for planning all your mobility needs. Statutory test cycles as the basis for range indication can only serve as a general guide for planning since, in practice, range is impacted by numerous parameters. In addition to external factors such as congestion, route topography, or outside temperatures, driver-specific influences including individual driving style or the use of comfort features also play an important role. The remaining range display in the all-electric e-tron models from Audi passes this test in flying colors by factoring in all relevant parameters and providing a realistic picture. On top of that, the route planner ensures that any necessary charging stops on the trip are ideally planned into the route.
