Two customer teams at the top of the Silver Cup

After 16 hours of the Spa 24 Hours, two customer teams with the Audi R8 LMS are in good positions in the fight for class victory. Team WRT leads the Silver Cup standings with Thomas Neubauer in car number 30 and is 14th overall. On the same lap is Nicolas Schöll of Attempto Racing, who is currently second in the Silver Cup in car number 99. His teammate Ricardo Feller follows two positions behind in the overall standings. The Audi Sport driver is competing for Audi Sport Team Attempto in car number 66. Patric Niederhauser from Audi Sport Team Saintéloc in car number 25 is in 21st position, trailed by fellow Audi Sport driver Frédéric Vervisch. His number 46 Audi was very unlucky in the morning. On lap 295, Charles Weerts in Audi Sport Team WRT number 32 had to brake hard exiting the La Source hairpin to avoid hitting a slower competitor. Nico Müller followed directly behind in car number 46, was unable to take evasive action and collided with the sister car. While the 32 was out, Müller had to come into the pits for bodywork repairs.
