DTM Hockenheim 2016
Nico Müller, Edoardo Mortara

Strong debut by Nico Müller in Audi Sport Team Abt Sportsline: The youngster from Switzerland clinched his first pole position in the DTM at the Hockenheim season opener. After having set the best time in the morning’s free practice session in the Playboy Audi RS 5 DTM, the 24-year-old secured the top spot on the grid with an impressive advantage of 0.225 seconds. “My car is top, but the large gap is still a surprise. Thank you to Audi and Abt Sportsline. Now I’m hoping for a good race.”

Edoardo Mortara in the Castrol EDGE Audi RS 5 DTM ensured that in race one on Saturday two Audi drivers are starting from the front row. With six cars in the first nine grid positions, Audi delivered a strong overall performance.
