Audi Tradition - Anniversary Dates 2024
Audi A6 Audi Tradition 8 Anniversary Dates 2024 At the Geneva Motor Show in March 1994, AUDI AG presented the Audi A8, its new model in the premium segment. By unveiling this car, Audi once again demonstrated the company’s capacity for innovation in the field of automotive engineering. After many years of development, it had managed to put the Audi A8 into production with a fully aluminium body. The body was based on the Audi Space Frame (ASF). This was a frame structure for the body on which individual extruded profiles were joined together by die-cast nodes. The engineers incorporated large, load-bearing aluminium panels into the bodywork cell that was created. Along with the welding and adhesive bonding technology, this was also the first time in automotive engineering that self-piercing rivets had been used as connecting elements. The Audi A8 was initially available in the quattro version with a 4.2-litre V8 engine that produced 220 kW/300 hp. Other units with six, eight and twelve cylinders were set to follow as petrol and diesel engines. Audi A8 Years 30 Audi Tradition 9 Anniversary Dates 2024 Market launch of Avant RS2 1994 was the year in which the first customers were able to pick up the high-performance estate car that had been developed in cooperation with Porsche on the basis of the Audi S2 Avant from their Audi dealer; it was first unveiled the year before at the International Motor Show in Frankfurt. Changes to the engine control unit, turbocharger and intercooler and an optimised exhaust gas system boosted the performance of the 2.2-litre five-cylinder engine up to 232 kW/315 hp. Combined with a close-ratio, six-speed manual gearbox, this guaranteed acceleration up to 100 km/h in just five seconds. The non-limited top speed was 262 km/h. The Avant RS2, which cost almost 100,000 DM, was manufactured from 1994 at Porsche in Zuffenhausen in a production alliance with the Audi factory in Ingolstadt.

Environmental Declaration 2023
Our “Energy Analytics” project, where our employees are continuously looking for ways to save energy, shows that environmental protection is a team effort. We also briefly outline the promising “MaterialLoop” endeavor, which has already proven as part of a large-scale field test with used vehicles that material loops can be closed on balance. Our non-profit Audi Environmental Foundation also makes an important contribution to reducing CO₂ in the region. In a study conducted in cooperation with the Weihenstephan-Triesdorf University of Applied Sciences, instruction manuals for how the neighboring Donaumoos (Danube Moor) can be rewetted to bond CO₂ and still be used for agriculture were illustrated as part of the “CO₂-regio” project. This document provides you with an extensive insight into our strategies, initiatives and progress designed to avoid CO₂ emissions. We are happy to report that the Ingolstadt site will achieve net carbon neutrality in the coming year and not as from 2025, as was originally planned. Our journey toward a carbon-neutral future is a continuous process that requires stamina and innovation and great commitment from our employees. Now we have come full circle: All these efforts go hand in hand with our move into a fully electric future. With our electric vehicles, we will take on a crucial role in the electrification of the production network and our environmental activities are an important foundation for creating a consistent overall image. The purpose of our environmental declaration is not only to inform you of our efforts and results, but also to invite you to participate in the discussion and dialogue. We hope you find it an inspiring read. Best regards, Dr. Siegfried Schmidtner Plant Management Ingolstadt Environmental Management Officer, Sites Dr.

The engine with a 66 degree cylinder angle was first presented in the Horch 830 at the Berlin Motor Show in 1933. The V8 underwent four stages of evolution until the war caused passenger car manufacturing to be stopped, and in its final version the 3.8 litre engine produced 92 hp. Audi V8 35 years Audi Tradition 8 Anniversary Dates 2023 Audi Coupé B3 In September 1988, the engineers from Ingolstadt unveiled the Audi Coupé, which was based on the technology used in the B3 series of the Audi 80/90. The new model entered production in December 1988, initially exclusively with five-cylinder engines. In the years that followed, four and six-cylinder models and a powerful 20-valve turbo engine were added to the engine range. Production of the Audi Coupé ended in December 1995 after seven years and almost 70,000 vehicles being built. 35 years Audi Tradition 9 Anniversary Dates 2023 quattro GmbH was founded in 1983 to protect the name “quattro” and the company’s marketing rights. From 1985, the subsidiary of AUDI AG initially sold high-quality accessories. At the International Motor Show in 1995, quattro GmbH presented the first customised Audi models, including the Audi A8 and the Audi Cabriolet. In the following year, 1996, quattro GmbH was officially registered as an automotive manufacturer. The first vehicle produced by the company was the Audi S6 plus, which was presented in 1997. Thanks to its 326 hp, eight-cylinder engine, the S6 plus, which was available as an estate or saloon, impressed with sports car level performance. It was followed at the turn of the century by the RS 4 (B5), which was the first RS model from quattro GmbH. The 380 hp, twin turbo V6 model was only available as an estate car. 6043 units rolled off the production line in Neckarsulm and quickly became sought-after collector’s items.

What’s also important: The Audi Q6 e-tron marks the arrival of electric mobility at Audi’s home base in Ingolstadt and shows what advantages PPE has with its Group-wide synergies in procurement, development and production.” Interviews: Sven Schulte-Rummel “I’m taking part in the ‘Digital Shift in Production and Logistics’ training program in Neckarsulm and hope to complete the program successfully by the end of 2022. This pilot project – which lasts between six and 18 months, depending on the person’s previous knowledge and individual learning speed as well as the requirements profile for their future job – provides both theoretical and practical training to prepare us for the digitalization of production and logistics processes. The program is a further blueprint for transformation projects at the company and shows how Audi is driving forward targeted competence development. Alongside me, other Audi production employees are preparing to work in the IT domain. The program comprises basic courses on hardware and software as well as training on special topics such as big data, cyber security and SAP applications.” “ Big data, cyber security and SAP applications” Timothy Michael, Technical Business Administrator and participant in the “Digital Shift” transformation program 8 Audi Report 2021 P h o to s: A U D I A G S trateg y P ro d u cts & S ervices O p eratio n s & In teg rity V alu e C reatio n & P ro d u ctio n E m p lo yees & S o ciety A p p en d ix In tro d u ctio n “Dinamica is a resource-friendly microfiber non-woven material that we offer in many of our vehicles. In collaboration with the American aluminium manufacturer Alcoa, Audi had developed a self-supporting aluminium body with a substructure comprising aluminium castings, connecting nodes and extruded profiles. This design was patented as the Audi ASF (Aluminium Space Frame) and used in the A8. In 1999, the “Audi A2” production model made its first appearance at the International Motor Show. Series production at the Aluminium Competence Centre in Neckarsulm began in June 2000. The A2 was the first all-aluminium compact car in recent auto motive history. Previously only the French make Panhard had gained any experience of production in this area up to the mid-1950s. The Audi Al₂ open end made its debut at the Tokyo Motor Show in autumn 1997.
&Audi SocAIty study
In actual fact, the reality in 2030 is likely to show more of a global division of roles between states, cities, systems and companies. The large and innovative companies driving development ultimately see the world as a global playing field, both in terms of markets, but also in choice of location and investments. Local legal frameworks play a decisive role here, as do a willingness to invest, existing and planned infrastructure as well as culture and acceptance in society. “I’m very sceptical of rankings, and i’m very sceptical of speaking about technologies in national terms. Because as you know the reality is much messier. We have transnational companies.” Bryant Walker Smith 2 Foresight 2030 18 The USA is seen by the majority of experts as the enabling and promoting force behind technology. While new technologies are not always primarily developed here, they are nevertheless brought onto the streets with the help of capital and knowledge. Another decisive factor is the USA’s progressive and opportunity-focused self-image with regard to the development and introduction of new technologies, which creates favorable conditions for the implementation of autonomous driving. Germany and Europe will presumably also play a key role – primarily as a location for vehicle technology innovation and series production but also as a sales market. That is why European consumer law and data protection regulations are shaping the global environment and product standards for the industry as whole. According to the experts, European decision-makers and players from business, research and politics tend to act more conservatively and are more regulatory-minded, as opposed to the more “hands-on” approaches in the US or China. This could, however, change in future if large companies place a greater emphasis on innovation. China, for the majority of experts, is regarded as the pioneer in the scaling and widespread penetration of technology.
