quattro permanent all-wheel drive has been a technical core competence and pillar of the Audi brand for 40 years now. In the brand’s S models – whether in the compact segment or the full-size class – quattro all-wheel drive as standard provides for plenty of driving fun, outstanding handling and optimum traction in all weather conditions.

The latest member of the portfolio is the Audi S3. Its 2.0 TFSI engine delivers 310 PS and 400 Nm (295.0 lb-ft) of torque, which are brought to the road by a lightning-fast seven-speed S tronic and smart, electronically controlled all-wheel drive. The newly developed dynamic handling controller collects the data from all components relevant for transverse dynamics, thereby ensuring quick and precise interaction between them. The result: even sportier and lighter-footed handling than before.

Agile performance is also a hallmark of the full-size sports models Audi SQ7 and SQ8 TFSI. Equipped with a new biturbo V8 gasoline engine with 507 PS and a powerful 770 Nm (567.9 lb-ft) of torque, the sprint from zero to 100 km/h (62.1 mph) takes just 4.1 seconds. An eight-speed tiptronic and the quattro permanent all-wheel drive convert the superior power of the 4.0 TFSI biturbo into dynamic propulsion at any time. The chassis comes standard with sport air suspension and all-wheel steering. A sport differential and electromechanical active roll stabilization are available as options. This combination offers high comfort together with powerful performance and a sporty character, particularly impressive on winding stretches of road.
