Audi fourth in first qualifying
Allan McNish set the fourth fastest time in the opening qualifying session for tomorrow´s Silverstone race of the American Le Mans Series (ALMS). “The team did a fabulous job, the car felt very good”, says McNish who drove the No. 77 car. Emanuele Pirro set the seventh fastest time in the Audi R8R No. 78.
With the three new Audi R8 cars currently being prepared for the Le Mans 24 Hour race, drivers Michele Alboreto, Frank Biela, Rinaldo Capello, Allan McNish and Emanuele Pirro drive the modified models from last year as in the previous ALMS race at Charlotte.
