FIA Hall of Fame 2019
FIA Hall of Fame 2019 including Marcel Fässler, André Lotterer, Benoît Tréluyer, Allan McNish, Loïc Duval and Tom Kristensen

A great honor for six world champions from Audi: The FIA inducted 29 former and current World Endurance Racing Champions into the Hall of Fame on December 2. FIA President Jean Todt bestowed the honor on Marcel Fässler, André Lotterer and Benoît Tréluyer, the 2012 FIA WEC Champions, as well as on Allan McNish, Loïc Duval and Tom Kristensen, who won this title a year later. Guests attending the ceremony held at the Automobile Club de France in the heart of Paris also saw the race car from that era with which Audi made history: the Audi R18 e-tron quattro was the first hybrid sports car to have won a world championship title as well as the Le Mans 24 Hours. Together with the six newly introduced Audi drivers, the Hall of Fame now encompasses 79 former world champions from endurance racing, rallying and Formula One. Previously, two former Audi drivers – former World Rally Champions Stig Blomqvist and Hannu Mikkola – had been inducted in the Hall of Fame already.
