Runner-up in TCR Middle East

Young Italian Giacomo Altoè finished third in the first race of the TCR Middle East during the season finale at the Bahrain International Circuit, which took place at night in wet conditions. Altoè was behind the wheel of an Audi RS 3 LMS from Pit Lane Competizioni. The decision was taken by the organisers to cancel the second heat due to worsening weather conditions in Bahrain during the Saturday evening. In the drivers’ standings, Altoè finished as the runner-up and Pit Lane Competizioni finished second and third in the teams’ standings with its combination of Audi and Volkswagen TCR cars, entered on behalf of the TCR Academy.
