Rookies and experienced drivers will test the Audi RS 5 DTM

A total of six drivers will be given the opportunity to test the Audi RS 5 DTM on track. The 27-year-old rallycross star Andreas Bakkerud is one of the drivers who will gather experience in the 2018 version of the Audi DTM race car from December 10–12 at Jerez in Spain. The list of participants in the test also includes three-time Le Mans winner and former champion of the Japanese Super GT, Benoît Tréluyer (42), the Belgian Frédéric Vervisch (32), who has been successful in the Audi Sport customer racing program, and the young Italian Mattia Drudi (20), who left a strong impression in the Audi R8 LMS from Audi Sport Italia this season. Two Formula 3 drivers will also be behind the wheel of the 500-hp Audi: Austrian Ferdinand Habsburg (21) and Jonathan Aberdein (20) from South Africa. In addition, Vincent Vosse’s Team WRT will use its first opportunity to attend a test in order to prepare for the new challenge.
