About a week after winning the DTM title, Audi factory driver René Rast on Monday visited his native Minden at the invitation of Mayor Michael Jäcke. The 30-year-old signed plenty of autographs and posed for selfies. The reception in his hometown was highlighted by the new DTM Champion driving his Audi RS 5 DTM across the Minden market square. In the evening, Rast went to Bückeburg, about ten kilometers away from Minden, to attend an event with various associates from his motorsport career.
