Overall and class success in endurance racing at Zhuhai

The Audi R8 LMS opened the 2019 season by winning the annual Circuit Hero 700-km endurance race at the Zhuhai International Circuit. Having led the race from pole position, the quartet of Adderly Fong, Shaun Thong, Ma Ka-Chun and Lin Yi-Ming from the Zun Motorsport Crew won the event with an 11-lap advantage. This marks the second overall victory for the R8 LMS in this race, following Phoenix Racing Asia’s triumph last year. Adding to the success was the TRC team that scored second place in class with an Audi RS 3 LMS driven by Smart Tse and Philip Tang.
