Enthusiastic welcome for René Rast at the Neckarsulm plant

The employees of the Audi factory in Neckarsulm gave DTM champion René Rast an enthusiastic welcome on Friday. The Audi driver drove his Audi RS 5 DTM through the factory grounds, caused a sensation with donuts and signed autographs. Rast also visited the sport engine technical development department, which is also responsible for the new two-liter four-cylinder turbo engine for the DTM. “It was a cool event and it had a great atmosphere,” said Rast, who will celebrate his second DTM title in his hometown of Minden on Saturday. On Wednesday, he will be driving his championship-winning car through the factory at the Audi headquarters in Ingolstadt.
