Audi R8 LMS #25 (Audi Sport Team Saintéloc), Dorian Boccolacci/Christopher Haase/Markus Winkelhock

In constantly changing weather conditions, two teams from Audi Sport customer racing are at the forefront of the Spa 24 hours. After the safety car had repeatedly brought the field together as a result of numerous accidents, a close battle for the lead unfolded between four brands, with frequent changes in the lead in unsettled weather conditions. Audi Sport Team Saintéloc led the race after 20 hours with Christopher Haase, Dorian Boccolacci and Markus Winkelhock in number 25 car. Mattia Drudi, Patric Niederhauser and Frédéric Vervisch in Audi Sport Team Attempto’s number 66 car followed at a gap of 7.9 seconds. Particularly on the wet track, both driver line-ups in their Audi R8 LMS impressed with flawless performances in a crucial stage of the race when several competitors retired due to accidents. Audi Sport Team WRT is in 16th place with Ferdinand Habsburg, Dennis Marschall and Matthieu Vaxivière. In the Silver Cup, the Belgian Audi Club Team WRT with Rik Breukers, Benjamin Goethe and Stuart Hall has improved to fourth place.
