DTM Finale Hockenheim 2015
Hoffmann Group Audi RS 5 DTM #53 (Audi Sport Team Rosberg), Jamie Green

The final weekend of the DTM at the Hockenheimring began with a commanding best time set by Jamie Green in the Hoffmann Group Audi RS 5 DTM. The three-time season winner, who had won the season opener at the same venue in May as well, was more than four tenths of a second faster than Mercedes driver Gary Paffett in second place.

“It’s good that it was dry today,” Jamie Green said after posting his best time of the day. “The second free practice tomorrow is so early that the track may still be damp. That’s why we already prepared for qualifying and the race today. My car feels superb and we’ve got a good set-up, which means optimum chances for a successful weekend.”

Edoardo Mortara (Castrol EDGE Audi RS 5 DTM), Nico Müller (Audi Financial Services Audi RS 5 DTM) and Mattias Ekström (Red Bull Audi RS 5 DTM) in positions four, five and six caused four Audi RS 5 DTM cars to finish the session in the top six. In cool fall weather, Mortara and Ekström performed some strong race simulations as well.

On Saturday, at 9.00, another free practice session is scheduled before, beginning at 11.10, the grid positions will be decided for the first of the two final races that will start on Saturday at 13.30.
