In the course of Sunday morning, the thrilling battle for the lead between Audi and BMW continued at the Spa 24 Hours. Always in the mix: the Audi Sport Tresor Orange1 #40 and Scherer Sport PHX #17 teams. After the number #17 with Kelvin van der Linde was in front after 17 hours, the opponents from Rowe Racing maintained their lead after 18 and 19 hours respectively. In the 20th hour, the #40 Audi Sport Tresor Orange1 temporarily took the lead before BMW reasserted itself at the front. Ricardo Feller is currently second in the #40, Kelvin van der Linde fourth in the #17. With Gilles Magnus in the #11 of Comtoyou Racing in ninth place, a third Audi was at the top group of the field after 20 hours. Several customer teams can also hope for a good result. Max Hofer in the #21 Audi from Comtoyou Racing is currently second in the Gold class. Sam Dejonghe in Comtoyou Racing’s #12 is second in the Silver Cup ahead of teammate Antoine Doquin. Alex Aka had led for a long time in the #99 of Tresor Orange1, but had to retire after damage in the 20th hour of racing. Arthur Rougier in the #888 of CSA Racing is third in the Pro-Am classification.
