Audi Q3 The new Audi Q3 is our impressive all-rounder in the compact segment. Now in its third generation, the SUV stands out with its dynamic, muscular look. As a digital companion for everyday life, the Q3 is ideally equipped to deliver an inspiring driving experience thanks to its modern driver assistance systems and lighting technology from the full-size class. Audi A3 Audi established the premium compact segment with the A3 in 1996. The fourth generation of the successful model is now receiving an update that – along with a sportier appearance – includes new design elements and numerous digital offers. Significantly expanded standard equipment increases comfort, selectable daytime running light signatures and flexible subscriptions for functions on demand ensure a high degree of individualization. With a higher battery capacity, DC charging at fast-charging stations and an electric range of up to 143 kilometers (88.9 miles), the Audi A3 Sportback TFSI e combines dynamic driving performance with increased comfort. The A3 allstreet, a distinctive crossover, is a new addition to the portfolio. With its characteristic off-road look, three centimeters more ground clearance than the A3 Sportback and the raised seating position, it offers an SUV-like driving experience and a high level of functionality. The Audi S3 is displaying a new level of driving dynamics: Its more powerful turbocharged four-cylinder engine with 333 PS and 420 Nm combines with the torque splitter, new steering knuckles, and optimized steering for strong performance and agile handling. The Audi RS 3, the top model and pinnacle of performance, is now even sportier with the upgrade.

The Audi A7 Sportback impresses with even more dynamic driving on the one hand and increased comfort on the other. Thanks to numerous chassis innovations, the Gran Turismo from Audi offers a new range between comfort and dynamics. The mild-hybrid technology, which is also new, makes the drive system even more efficient and at the same time more comfortable. Furthermore, the A7 will be hitting the road with updated engines. Chassis New chassis components enable the four-door Gran Turismo to perfect its synthesis of sportiness and long-distance comfort. The new Audi A7 Sportback handles more agilely and spontaneously yet is also safer and more comfortable. This has been achieved using innovative technologies such as dynamic all-wheel steering, damper control and controlled power distribution by the quattro sport differential. The central control of these system via the electronic chassis platform (ECP) make this synthesis of sportiness and comfort possible. With the standard progressive steering and the optional dynamic all-wheel steering and sport differential, the A7 achieves the handling characteristics of a compact sports car. The dynamic all-wheel steering combines the dynamic steering at the front axle, which works with strain wave gearing, with a separate rear axle steering system with a spindle drive. This makes it possible to independently adjust the steering angles at the front and rear axles. The dynamic all-wheel steering ends the conflict of aims between agile response and stability. At speeds up to 60 km/h (37.3 mph), the rear wheels are turned as much as five degrees in the opposite direction. This reduces the turning circle by up to 1.1 meters (3.6 ft), and the car becomes more agile in city traffic, when maneuvering and in tight switchbacks. At 60 km/h (37.3 mph) and above the rear wheels turn in the same direction as the front wheels.

Contents Electric all-wheel drive Electric all-wheel drive combines the efficiency of a single-axle drive with the driving dynamics and traction of an all-wheel drive. It regulates the distribution of drive torque between the axles continuously and fully variably – at intervals of just a few thousandths of a second. This is significantly faster than conventional quattro technology. Unlike mechanical systems, electric all-wheel drive doesn’t engage a clutch; instead, it distributes electric current within milliseconds. This ensures full all-wheel performance even during sudden changes in road grip or extreme driving situations. Electric all-wheel drive therefore offers maximum dynamics and traction in all weather conditions. The quattro principle of four driven wheels, which Audi introduced to the market more than 40 years ago, is now entering a new technological stage. In the Audi drive select “comfort” mode, both electric motors work together in the most energy-efficient way possible. In “dynamic” mode, the system takes on a more rear-biased character, while “efficiency” mode clearly prioritizes front-wheel drive. On slippery roads, under high power demand, or during fast cornering, more torque can be directed to the rear wheels – and this happens about five times faster than with a mechanical quattro drivetrain. Power electronics Alongside the electric motor and transmission, power electronics (pulse inverters) are one of the main components of an electric drive system. The high-voltage battery supplies direct current, while the electric motors operate with alternating current – each motor is therefore paired with a power electronics unit that converts the current.

Audi SQ8 SUV TFSI Superior performance: As part of the product upgrade, the SQ8 TFSI now runs on the established 4.0 TFSI with 507 PS and 770 Nm of torque with fast-shifting eight-speed tiptronic and quattro permanent all-wheel drive. For an ideal driving experience, a vehicle requires not only first-class engines, but also outstanding suspension components. Adaptive air suspension sport and all-wheel-steering are standard equipment on the SQ8. In the optional advanced suspension package, customers also benefit from the sport differential and an electromechanical active roll stabilization (eAWS). Contents 8-speed tiptronic The 8-speed tiptronic is a classic torque converter automatic transmission, whose greatest strength lies in its high degree of shifting and starting comfort. Gear changes are smooth, spontaneous, fast, and highly flexible. Audi uses it in many models with longitudinally mounted engines. Thanks to the eight gears, the rpm jumps between gears remain small, and the engine always runs close to its ideal operating point. A speed-adaptive torsional damper compensates for unwanted engine vibrations and enables efficient driving at particularly low speeds. The torque converter lock-up clutch with integrated damper also contributes to the high efficiency. In normal driving, the clutch is closed and connects the transmission directly to the engine. In some driving situations, it operates with controlled slip – in conjunction with the damper, this allows very low engine speeds without vibrations occurring. When the car is stationary, an internal clutch disconnects the transmission from the engine even if “D” is still engaged – this avoids losses from oil circulation in the converter. As soon as the driver releases the brake, the clutch closes again, and the damping effect of the torque converter ensures a smooth start. The dynamic shift program (DSP) controls the 8-speed tiptronic. It uses a fast processor. In operating mode D, the DSP automatically determines the optimal shift point. It prefers high gears and low engine speeds for efficient driving. In a second gearshift gate, tiptronic allows manual intervention in automatic operation. This makes it possible, for example, to downshift on winding mountain roads to increase engine braking or to adopt a distinctly sporty driving style.

Epic stories from the Star Wars, Pixar and Marvel universes – along with Disney classics and new movie highlights, including previous films of the “TRON” series – can be streamed on the central MMI display when the vehicle is parked or on the optional passenger display during the drive. The app is being rolled out simultaneously in 43 markets worldwide: in many European countries, parts of Asia, Australia, New Zealand, and the United States. The app is available via the Audi Application Store in the new models of the Audi A5, Audi Q5, Audi A6, Audi A6 e-tron, and Audi Q6 e-tron model series.
