The limited-edition Audi RS 6Avant GT represents the pinnacle of its model series. With its exclusive exterior and interior details, the special edition model pays homage to the legendary Audi 90 quattro IMSA GTO racing car from 1989. The RS 6Avant GT in Nardo Grey appears in the impressive surroundings of the United States West Coast.
With typical Audi performance thanks to quattro all-wheel drive, a five-cylinder engine, and sensational appearance, the Audi 90 quattro IMSA GTO conquered the racetracks of North America at the end of the 1980s. Today, the victorious vehicle inspires the new top model of another icon from Audi’s portfolio: the Audi RS 6Avant GT. New photos show the special model, limited to 660 cars, against the backdrop of San Francisco, Los Angeles, and the unmistakable nature of the surrounding landscape. As the second-largest car market in the world, the USA is an important growth market for Audi. The company wants to strengthen its brand in North America and sees the region as one of three pillars worldwide. Ten new market launches will follow by 2026 as part of this strategy. Now in its fourth generation, the Audi RS 6Avant enjoys cult status in the USA.

Carbon hood and fenders as well as 22-inch wheels in a distinctive design ensure high recognizability Adjustable coilover suspension, high-performance tires, and optimized quattro sport differential enhance the driving dynamics Only 660 units worldwide and heritage decals based on the Audi 90 quattro IMSA GTO guarantee exclusivity
The new Audi RS 6Avant GT is the pinnacle of the model series. The special edition is packed with exclusive details for both the exterior and the interior. An impressive pass-through roof edge spoiler, redefined diffuser, and 22-inch wheels in a distinctive design underscore its top position in the model series. The interior features high-quality bucket seats, a fresh color combination, and individual numbering in the center console as exclusive accents. Lightweight adjustable coilover suspension unique to the RS 6Avant GT and a reworked quattro sport differential on the rear axle sharpen the driving experience. The twin-turbocharged eight-cylinder engine in a V-layout has an output of 463 kW (630 PS) and delivers 850 Nm of torque from 2,300 to 4,500 rpm. Delivery of the Audi RS 6Avant GT will begin in the second quarter 2024, the price starts at 219,585 euro.
More powerful and faster than any RS 6 to date, the new Audi RS 6Avant performance is bursting with extras that sharpen the models’ appearance and make for a more emotive driving experience. The potent 4.0-liter V8 biturbo TFSI engine now has an engine power of 463 kW (630 PS) and a maximum torque of 850 Nm. At Audi, “performance” means more power. Larger turbochargers and an increase in boost pressure from 2.4 to 2.6 bar in the 4.0-liter V8 biturbo TFSI engine of the RS 6Avant performance allow an increase of 30 PS in engine power and 50 Nm more torque compared to the base version. This means total power rises from 441 kW (600 PS) to 463 kW (630 PS) and maximum torque rises from 800 to 850 Nm (590 to 627 lb-ft). The performance model sprint from 0 to 100 km/h (0 to 62.1 mph) in 3.4 seconds, 0.2 seconds faster than the RS 6 base version. Less is sometimes more: Reduced insulation between the engine compartment, the interior, and the rear of the vehicle ensures the RS 6Avant performance will thrill customers with an exciting, next-level sound experience – the reduction also makes the car eight kilograms (17.6 lbs) lighter.
Coach Zinédine Zidane opted for the Audi RS 6Avant (combined fuel consumption in l/100 km: 9.6; combined CO2 emissions in g/km: 223), Cristiano Ronaldo and Keylor Navas for the Audi RS 7 Sportback (combined fuel consumption in l/100 km: 9.5; combined CO2 emissions in g/km: 221). Captain Sergio Ramos will be driving an Audi R8 Spyder (combined fuel consumption in l/100 km: 12.5–11.7; combined CO2 emissions in g/km: 292–277). Before the handover of the company cars, the football stars performed a virtual test drive in the Audi e-tron FE04. The fully electric race car will have its first official outing at the Formula E season opener in Hong Kong (December 2/3). In addition to the players from Real Madrid, a number of fans qualified for a lap in the race simulator before the handover as well. Dani Carvajal finished as the fastest driver on the circuit inside the replica Formula E cockpit simulator. Audi has been partnering with Real Madrid since the summer of 2003. The club won three of the most recent four Champions League titles and in 2017 was the first team to even defend the title in the premier competition.
