Use of our Audi MediaTV mobile app

These privacy notices describe how AUDI AG, Auto-Union-Strasse 1, 85045 Ingolstadt, Germany (“Audi” or “we”) processes the personal data of users of the Audi MediaTV mobile app (“data”).

1. What data does Audi process?

When the Audi MediaTV mobile app is opened, a device ID is generated and saved locally on your device. When the app is used, we process this device ID because we need this to be able to offer you a personal user experience, such as the scope for saving favorites. We are not able to create any connection to personal data from the device ID. As soon as you uninstall the app, your device ID is deleted. The Audi MediaTV app does not access any other functions on your phone. 

2. Disclosure of your personal data

We do not disclose personal data of users to third parties unless users have consented to data disclosure or we are entitled or obliged to disclose data on the basis of statutory requirements and/or official or court orders. This may especially involve the provision of information for purposes of law enforcement, for hazard prevention or for asserting intellectual property rights.

3. Data security

Insofar as there is a transfer of information over the Internet, the security of the data so transferred cannot be guaranteed. However, we safeguard our services and other systems against loss, destruction, access, alteration or dissemination of your data by unauthorized persons via technical and organizational measures. In particular, your personal data with us is transferred using encryption. Our security measures are continuously improved and adapted to reflect the state of the art.

4. Data subject rights

You may at any time obtain information on your data held by Audi and demand its deletion, correction or limitation of processing. In addition, subject to certain conditions you shall have the right to obtain the personal data held about you, which you have provided, in a structured, conventional and machine-readable format and, to the extent that is technically feasible, to make it available to another responsible party (data transferability).
