• Rupert Stadler, Chairman of the Board of Management of AUDI AG: “We are shocked by the scale of the flooding”
  • Support for people in German and Hungarian crisis areas
  • Additional workforce donations planned

AUDI AG is to help the victims of the heavy flooding. The company is spontaneously making an amount of €1 million available for the persons affected. This donation has been approved by the Audi Board of Management. In addition, the Works Council will appeal for donations to be made by the members of the workforce.

The company’s donation is available for various projects in Germany and Hungary, and will benefit charitable organizations and the direct aid for the flood victims.

Rupert Stadler, Chairman of the Board of Management of AUDI AG: “My Board of Management colleagues and I are shocked by the scale of the flooding. With our donation, we want to help to reduce the material damage. As well as in Germany, people in Hungary are also in distress. We want to demonstrate our solidarity with all of them.”

Chairman of the Group Works Council Peter Mosch has promised: “Our colleagues at Audi want to help the people who are suffering as effectively as possible. In addition to the company’s donation, we are therefore starting a campaign for donations to be made by the employees as a gesture of solidarity.”

Audi’s management and Works Council will organize the handing over of the donated money this week. In this context, various relief organizations will be contacted at short notice.
