Success against microplastics: URBANFILTER doubles the amount of solids and plastic particles collected in real-world operations

The advanced URBANFILTER from the TU Berlin funding project, supported by the Audi Environmental Foundation and project partner BAIONYX, is designed to capture tire particles that are washed into Copenhagen’s sewer system. To use the filter in Copenhagen, its dimensions had to be adjusted to fit the smaller drains there.
