With the optional augmented reality head-up display in the Q4 e-tron and Q4 Sportback e-tron, Audi is taking a huge step forward in display technology. The display reflects important information via the windshield on two separate levels, the status section and the augmented reality (AR) section. The information provided by some of the assist systems and the turning arrows of the navigation system as well as its starting points and destinations are visually superimposed in the corresponding place on the real-life outside world as content of the AR section and displayed dynamically. They appear to be floating at a distance of roughly ten meters from the driver. Depending on the situation, they can appear considerably further ahead in some cases. The driver can understand the displays very quickly without being confused or distracted by them, and they are extremely helpful in poor visibility conditions. The field of view for the AR content from the driver’s perspective is equivalent to a diagonal of around 70 inches. Below it is a flat near-field area window, known as the status section. It displays the speed driven and the traffic signs as well as the assist system and navigation symbols as static displays. It appears to hover about three meters in front of the driver. The heart of the system: the picture generation unit The technical heart of the augmented reality head-up display is the picture generation unit (PGU), which is located deep inside the long instrument panel. A particularly bright LCD directs the light beams it generates onto two level mirrors, and special optical components separate the portions for the near-field and distant areas. The level mirrors direct the beams onto a large concave mirror that can be adjusted electrically. From there, they reach the windshield, which reflects them into what is known as the eyebox and thus onto the driver’s eyes.

Audi Q6 Sportback e-tron – Operation and infotainment – Animation
Thanks to an even more efficient electric motor, for example, the enhanced Q4 Sportback e-tron performance now offers up to 592 kilometers of range. In the Q4 SUV e-tronquattro performance and Q4 Sportback e-tronquattro performance, the maximum SUV charging capacity has increased from 175 kW to 185 kW. On longer journeys, this keeps charging stops brief: in some variants, the high-voltage battery charges from 10 to 80 percent in about 27 minutes. For the Q4 Sportback e-tronquattro performance, it is possible to add 185 kilometers of range in just ten minutes. Plus, the battery can be automatically or manually preconditioned for better charging performance. Audi offers the Q4 e-tron as both SUV and Sportback, each with two battery sizes to choose from: 63 kWh gross and 82 kWh gross. Everyday usability is improved by the electric tailgate as standard. A leap in comfort and flexibility awaits customers in the all-new interior, which is also optionally available in the S line. The heart of the spacious cabin is the digital stage: a panoramic display with an 11.9" instrument cluster and a 12.8" MMI touch display keeps everything in clear view. An optional 12" passenger display with a customizable standby design completes the setup.
Digital stage: panoramic display includes 11.9-inch Audi virtual cockpit, 12.8-inch MMI touch display, and head-up display Immersive audio experience: with twelve high-performance speakers and 420 watts of amplifier power, the SONOS premium sound system delivers an immersive, virtually generated surround-sound experience Customized color scheme: illuminated inner door panels with 30 selectable colors create an emotionally engaging ambiance
The interior of the new Audi Q3 demonstrates how form and function become one. Premium materials, intelligent technologies, and a customizable lighting and sound concept come together to create a driving experience that engages the senses.
Clean lines, intuitive operation, and smart technology are combined into a harmonious entity inside the new Audi Q3. A generously sized application area extends from the doors across the entire width of the dashboard, highlighting the horizontal layout for a maximum sense of space. The calm, clear design of the dashboard continues into the clean, uncluttered console layout. Simple design and a user-focused layout of the cup holders and covered charging tray reflect Audi’s philosophy of “visual clarity.” At the heart of it all is the digital stage: the panoramic display – with the 11.9-inch Audi virtual cockpit plus and a 12.8-inch MMI touch display – features a driver-oriented, curved design. It is complemented by an optional head-up display that projects important information directly into the driver’s field of vision. Flush door handles, carefully coordinated materials with soft-touch surfaces, and chrome details on the switches underscore the vehicle’s visual appeal, tactile quality, and overall comfort. More space thanks to clever controls A new steering wheel control unit with two stalks on the steering column has resulted in more storage space in the center console, a new user experience, and a more spacious feel.
Axles kinematically refined, control systems and steering precisely tuned to ensure driving dynamics typical of the brand High emotionality and driving enjoyment thanks to sporty powertrains Experience innovations: augmented reality head-up display stages driving-relevant content and marks the next big step in digital display technology
The road climbs steeply for around 150 meters, followed by a hairpin bend that requires precise steering. The fluid combination of bends that follows is pure joy: their sometimes challenging profile makes the roads between Bilbao and San Sebastián ideal for experiencing the character of the new Audi Q6 e-tron. The agility of the electric SUV, due in part to the precise and sporty steering and the harmonious power delivery of the electric motors, comes into its own on the roads in northern Spain. The suspension, tuned in line with the Audi DNA, offers comfort but also conveys a sporty dynamism – especially in the Audi SQ6 e-tron. The diverse routes with their differences in altitude and going through towns enable drivers to experience the high recuperation power of up to 220 kW in an impressive way. Just like the sophisticated thermal management system, this contributes significantly to the efficiency of the first model on the Premium Platform Electric (PPE).
Optimized driving dynamics The kinematically refined axles of the Audi Q6 e-tron provide true driving dynamics. The result: noticeably more agility and improved steering behavior. The completely redesigned front axle has a significant influence on the driving dynamics.
Depending on the motor version, they achieve ranges of up to 534 kilometers (331.8 mi) (WLTP). The augmented reality head-up display brings a pioneering operating innovation on board on request.
In combination with the new interior concept, the result is a comfortable feeling of space with ample head and legroom. A particularly practical feature of the Audi Q5 SUV is the fully adjustable rear seat. It can be moved lengthways and tilted, thus increasing the trunk volume or comfort for rear passengers as required. At the same time, three people can be comfortably seated on the rear bench. With the rear seats folded down, the transport volume increases to up to 1,473 liters, depending on the model variant. The luggage compartment cover can be stowed in a specially designed compartment under the luggage compartment floor. This provides even more space for luggage and a secure place for the cover. Other practical features include an even larger storage compartment under the center armrest compared to the previous model, numerous smaller storage areas for sunglasses, keys and other everyday items, an inductive and cooled charging tray with 15 watts of charging power in the front center console, two USB-C ports in the front, and two in the rear. As an option, the USB ports at the front can support charging capacities of up to 60 watts; the rear ports can even support charging capacities of up to 100 watts. This means larger devices such as laptops can be safely supplied with power while driving. Purism and dynamism: the exterior design The third generation of the Q5 SUV models has become even sportier and offers perfect proportions. The taut and high shoulder line creates a powerful silhouette, connects the front and rear lights, and makes the vehicle appear longer. Above the sill, a rising line runs over the wheel arches and into the rear bumper, giving the vehicle a dynamic appearance even when stationary. The front is self-confident, as all the defining design elements are positioned one level higher than in the predecessor model. The sporty, wide Singleframe sits high and is flanked by vertical, functional air curtains.
A new design language in the interior creates a generous feeling of space and places the displays on a digital stage. The new operating concept increases interaction with the vehicle. Efficient, partially electrified combustion engines and thrilling S models round off the range.
With the debut of the latest generation, the Audi A4, a long-standing bestseller, will be called the Audi A5 and will be produced in Neckarsulm. It is offered in four new variants: as the A5 Sedan and S5 Sedan and as the A5 Avant and S5 Avant. These versions are the first models to be launched on the Premium Platform Combustion (PPC). Audi CEO Gernot Döllner on the new model family: “In tandem with the expansion of our all-electric portfolio, we are launching a new generation of models with efficient combustion engines. The Audi A5 family with its athletic design, completely new interior and future-proof electronics architecture will be the first. The advanced MHEV plus technology enables partially electric driving and therefore even more efficient driving.” The new models are growing in length and width. Audi is also expanding their standard equipment, positioning the new Audi A5 in the upper mid-size segment. The new user experience based on the 1.2 version of the E³ electronic architecture matches this aspiration. Optional equipment is bundled in various packages. Dynamic and muscular exterior design Even at first glance, the completely redesigned A5 family has a powerful and clean design. The modified proportions with a long wheelbase, large wheels and the low, sporty body embody progressive dynamism and premium standards.
