Countdown to DTM home round is underway

Audi driver Mike Rockenfeller is starting Audi’s home round at the Norisring as the leader of the standings. Before the first practice session on the city street circuit that is just 2.3 kilometers long the 29 year-old German secured the backing of loyal fans. Together with his team boss Ernst Moser ‘Rocky’ visited the headquarters of Audi partner Schaeffler in Herzogenaurach. In an interview session he got the employees attuned to the DTM’s season highlight and subsequently signed posters and autograph cards. ‘A great way to start the weekend,’ said Rockenfeller. ‘The many fans and Audi employees make the entire weekend a very special event year after year. This support gives our motivation as race drivers a further boost.”
