On the second race weekend of the Audi R8 LMS Cup in Buriram (Thailand), victories went to title defender Alex Yoong and junior Martin Rump. In race one, Alex Yoong prevailed against Alessio Picariello and Marchy Lee. In race two, the 20-year-old Martin Rump triumphed ahead of Alessio Picariello and Jan Kisiel. In the popular one-make cup held exclusively with the Audi R8 LMS, Alessio Picariello, after two in a total of six race weekends, took the lead of the standings with a three-point advantage over Alex Yoong.
