Andreas Seidl

Andreas Seidl was born in Passau in 1976. After graduating from the Technical University of Munich with a degree in mechanical engineering, he began his motorsport career in BMW's Formula 1 project, during which time he also worked as the Head of Racing Operations at Sauber.

As the Team Principal, Seidl celebrated several world championship titles with Porsche in the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) between 2015 and 2017, including three overall victories in the prestigious Le Mans 24 Hours. From 2019 to 2022, Andreas Seidl was the Team Principal of the McLaren Formula 1 team, before taking over as the CEO of the Sauber Group at the beginning of 2023.

In March 2024, as the CEO of the Audi F1 factory team, he took over the responsibility for the operational implementation of the F1 project and the management of the future racing team.
