Two pole positions for Audi customers in Dubai

Qualifying went perfectly for two customer teams of Audi Sport customer racing at the season opener of the 24H Series in Dubai. In the GT4 class, Phoenix Racing achieved the best time in the debut of the new race car in this series in the customer’s hands. Briton Philip Ellis in his first run in the Audi R8 LMS GT set the fastest lap with an advantage of 127 thousandths. This good result was completed by Belgian Team AC Motorsport in the TCR category. The seasoned Belgian campaigner Vincent Radermecker in the Audi RS 3 LMS was 0.654 seconds faster than his best rival. Audi’s best GT3 customer team is MS7 by WRT. Christopher Mies achieved position four after his fastest lap which would have been good enough for pole position was canceled for having been posted under yellow flags.
