Sixth victory for Mikel Azcona

The historic final name entered into the Audi Sport TT Cup winners’ list is Mikel Azcona. The Spaniard has written his name in the Roll of Honour for the sixth time this year with a victory in the final race at Hockenheim. He won the race 1.4 seconds ahead of the new champion Philip Ellis, whilst third place went to Australian Drew Ridge. Tommaso Mosca secured third place in the championship rankings behind Ellis and Azcona. The Italian is therefore also the winner of the rookie evaluation for the best newcomer.
