Audi on course for podium position

Four hours before the end of the Nürburgring 24 Hours, two Audi are fighting for third position. Dries Vanthoor in the Audi R8 LMS with number 4 of Audi Sport Team Phoenix after 20 hours of racing was third. René Rast of Audi Sport Team Land with number 29 was just one second behind in fifth position. The third-best Audi is car numer 14 of Audi Sport Team Car Collection driven by Marcel Fässler in sixth position. Also still running are both private Audi R8 LMS. Jeroen Bleekemolen of Phoenix Racing holds eleventh position, Jean-Louis Hertenstein of Car Collection Motorsport was in position 24. Bonk Motorsport remains in second position in the SP3T class with the Audi RS 3 LMS. Two Audi are leading in the SP8 class. The Giti Tire Motorsport by RaceIng Audi R8 LMS is in front of the Giti Tire Motorsport by WS Racing Audi R8 LMS GT4.
