Audi R8 LMS #29 (Audi Sport Team Land), Kelvin van der Linde/Christopher Mies/Connor De Phillippi/Markus Winkelhock

Audi remains at the front of the Nürburgring 24 Hours. The no. 29 Audi R8 LMS from Audi Sport Team Land leads after eight hours of racing. Markus Winkelhock had a lead of one and a half minutes ahead of Marcel Fässler in the no. 9 Audi R8 LMS from Audi Sport Team WRT. The second Audi R8 LMS from Audi Sport Team Land was running in sixth position. There was a setback for Phoenix Racing, which was running in third at the time. After a mistake, the car had to undergo a long repair and fell down the order. The no. 10 Audi R8 LMS was retired shortly after the fifth hour, when Nico Müller, through no fault of his own, was involved in a collision on track. 

In the TCR category, the no. 173 Audi RS 3 LMS is runner-up after eight hours and Bonk Motorsport with the no. 172 entry is third.
