After three-quarters of the Spa 24 Hours, Audi was in the thick of the battle involving four cars for the lead as Audi Sport Team WRT traded places with two Marc VDS cars and one from Rowe respectively. Frank Stippler held second position in the Audi R8 LMS after 391 laps. The other three new Audi R8 LMS cars were in the top ten as well after 18 hours of racing. Audi Sport Team Phoenix had climbed back steadily with both cars. While their number „5“ car held fifth position, the number „6“ car lost time and was seventh when the team had to change an engine cover following a spin of Marcel Fässler in the 17th hour. The Audi quartet was completed by Audi Sport Team WRT’s Laurens Vanthoor in tenth position.

Meanwhile, Team Parker Racing continued to dominate the Am class in the Audi R8 LMS ultra. The British outfit had an advantage of two laps over its next competitor and was 19th overall. A second Audi R8 LMS ultra, the number „36“ car run by Saintéloc Racing, was eighth in the Am class.
