Audi R18 e-tron quattro #9 (Audi Sport Team Joest), Filipe Albuquerque, Marco Bonanomi, René Rast

Almost all the fourth hour of the 24 Hours of Le Mans was completed behind the Audi R8 safety cars, because the crash barriers in the ‘Indianapolis’ section had to be repaired following Loïc Duval’s accident.

After the restart at 18.42, Benoît Tréluyer immediately overtook the Porsche #18 running ahead and, in doing so, took second place, before the Frenchman in Audi R18 e-tron quattro #7 dived into the pits for the next scheduled refueling stop.

At 19.00, Audi held second, third and eighth positions. After 58 laps, Filipe Albuquerque in Audi R18 e-tron quattro #9 ran only 13 seconds behind the leading Porsche #18.

Positions after 4 hours:
1 Porsche #17 2 Audi #9 3 Audi #7 4 Porsche #18 5 Porsche #19 6 Toyota #1 ... 8 Audi #8
