Audi R18 e-tron quattro #9 (Audi Sport Team Joest), Filipe Albuquerque, Marco Bonanomi, René Rast

After three-quarters of the race distance, Audi held third, fourth and fifth places in the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Due to irregular hybrid power cut-outs, René Rast was unable to defend his second place following a safety car period. Audi R18 e-tron quattro #9 dropped down to third place and at 9 o’clock was one lap behind the leading Porsche #19.

The two other R18 prototyps ran without problems and maintained fourth and fifth after 18 hours.
