The Audi RS 7 Sportback comes standard with MMI navigation plus. The top infotainment system includes an electrically retractable, high-resolution, eight-inch monitor, groundbreaking touchpad control (MMI touch), a 60 GB hard drive, a DVD drive and voice control. MMI navigation plus is tightly networked with the control units of the ACC stop&go, the eight-speed tiptronic and the optional adaptive light system, allowing these systems to quickly and precisely adapt their function to the conditions of a given route.
Among the optional infotainment modules are such high-end features as the Bose surround system and a digital radio tuner. At the very top is the Bang & Olufsen Advanced Sound System, which drives 15 speakers with more than 1,200 watts of total power. Two acoustic lenses made of aluminum reproduce the high frequencies. They extend from the instrument panel when the system is switched on.
Audi connect plus car phone, another option, supplements MMI navigation plus. Its integrated WLAN hotspot lets the passengers surf and e-mail freely. For the driver, it delivers tailored Internet services from Audi connect to the car – from online traffic information to navigation with the Google Earth maps service and Google Street View to Audi music stream web radio. The term Audi connect covers all applications and developments that network the car with its owner, the Internet, infrastructure and other automobiles.
