Dr. Horst Glaser was born in Trier, Germany, on July 24, 1953.
After completing a mechanical engineering degree at RWTH Aachen University, he worked as a research assistant at the Institute for Lightweight Construction from 1979 to 1988 and earned a Dr.-Ing. degree.
In 1988 Dr. Glaser began his career in the Technical Development division of AUDI AG, in the Component Strength department. In 1990 he became head of that very department.
Additional management positions followed in the 1990s in Suspension Testing as well as in Brake Development, Wheel Slip Control System and Vibration Analysis.
Dr. Glaser was named Head of Suspension Development in 2001.
He was appointed General Representative of AUDI AG in September 2016.
