Into the new year with fresh impetus: The Audi A5 family will be complete by the start of spring with the premiere of the new Audi A5 and Audi S5 Cabriolet. Both models are coming to dealerships in Germany and other European countries in March 2017. Up to four people can enjoy intense driving pleasure on board the open‑top mid‑sized model. The fully automatic acoustic hood opens and closes up to a speed of 50 km/h (31.1 mph). In the Audi S5 Cabriolet a new six-cylinder turbocharged engine developing 354 hp and 500 Nm (368.8 lb-ft) of torque ensures top performance.
Onward with lightness and power: As the sporty top models in the mid-size class, the successful Audi RS 5 and Audi RS 4 Avant will be replaced by a new generation in 2017. The recipe followed by Audi Sport GmbH is inspired by the previous models so celebrated by customers and the media: a lightweight body and an incredibly powerful engine, quattro drive and a sport suspension together with elegant lines and maximum everyday usability.
Piloted in the flagship: From mid-2017, the brand with the four rings will be showing its vision for Vorsprung durch Technik bundled into the brand’s new flagship. The new Audi A8 will be rolled out a good seven years after the debut of the previous model. Its mission is to set new standards in the luxury class for drivetrain technology and driving dynamics, connectivity and assistance systems. And it will be the first production model to offer Level 3 piloted driving.
Design and innovation reloaded: Another eagerly awaited premiere by Audi in 2017 will be the second generation of the Audi A7. The design of the five-door coupé is based on a show car that generated a buzz like no other in recent years – the Audi Prologue. The first opus of Audi chief designer Marc Lichte shows how spectacular innovations will shape the lines of Audi models in the years ahead. The Audi A8 and the Audi A7 will kick things off in their respective segments before the end of 2017.
