School pupils were delighted about the visit by a real racing driver as highlight in the competition ‘Formula 1 at School’. Markus Pommer, who goes hunting down points this year at the wheel of a Phoenix Racing Audi R8 LMS, was impressed by the creativity of the young people. At the Audi Forum Neckarsulm, the up-and-coming teams competed against one another with their self-designed and built model cars. Pommer watched as the teams ‘flawless’ in the juniors up to 14 years of age and ‘ThunderStormRacing’ in the seniors up to 19 years of age prevailed. Markus Winkelhock, who followed the competition with great interest in the past, unfortunately had to cancel at short notice due to illness.
