During their visit to the Audi wind tunnel center in Ingolstadt, ski racers Klaus and Christoph Brandner, Manuel Schmid and Dominik Schwaiger from the German Ski Association (DSV) fine-tuned their optimum downhill position. In the Downhill and Super G Alpine Speed disciplines, in addition to skiing technique and the right choice of line, aerodynamics is decisive. Especially during the gliding stages, crucial hundreds of a second can be gained thanks to a body posture that minimizes aerodynamic drag. In addition to the DSV, the Swiss and Austrian Ski Associations take advantage of the ideal test conditions in the Audi wind tunnel.
