An important session on the calendar of the German Ski Association (DSV) ski jumpers: The DSV Eagles were guests at the ultra-modern wind tunnel center of AUDI AG in Ingolstadt as part of their pre-season preparations. The squad – including the team’s 2014 Olympic gold medalists in Sochi, Severin Freund, Marinus Kraus and Andreas Wellinger – obtained conclusive data for optimizing their posture and equipment. The training team was complemented by World Cup winners Richard Freitag, Markus Eisenbichler, Michael Neumayer and Stephan Leyhe. In addition to the FIS Ski Flying World Championships to be held in Kulm (Austria) from January 14 to 17, in which Severin Freund is aiming to defend his title, the Four Hills Tournament (December 27, 2015 to January 6, 2016) will be one of the season’s highlights.
