In the Audi ultra Cup held as part of the Kieler Woche, prominent guests of the Audi family fought a thrilling battle on water together with sailors from the German National Sailing Team. The starting signal for the regatta of the four rings on the Kieler Förde was given by ski Olympic gold medalist Maria Höfl-Riesch. Audi Sport legend Marco Werner, biathlon Olympic gold medalist Magdalena Neuner and hockey Olympic gold medalist Carlos Nevado went on board of the identically built B/one boats sporting Audi livery as well as cross-country skier Tobias Angerer, pole vaulter Björn Otto, artistic gymnast Elisabeth Seitz, singer Rufus Martin, plus TV hosts Mirja du Mont and Nova Meierhenrich. Soccer pro Ralph Gunesch from FC Ingolstadt and the two ice hockey pros Patrick Köppchen and Benedikt Kohl from ERC Ingolstadt went sailing as well. In the end, Team ‘Crash Boom Bang’ with sailor Kathrin Kadelbach, Marco Werner, Rufus Martin and Audi employee Jacob Sturm clinched victory.
