​Audi in front again in second free practice

In the DTM at the Nürburgring, Audi was running in front again in the second free practice session. After Mattias Ekström had achieved the best time in the morning, his teammate Miguel Molina in the Teufel Audi RS 5 DTM took position one (1m 22.861s) in the afternoon. “It’s been a good day,” said the Spaniard. “I think that for tomorrow’s qualifying and even more so for the race we’ve got a good car.”

Audi showed a strong performance on Friday afternoon across the board. In Jamie Green (Hoffmann Group Audi RS 5 DTM) and Mike Rockenfeller (Schaeffler three Audi RS 5 DTM) made it into the top four. All eight Audi RS 5 DTM cars were in the top 14.

For the first time in this DTM season, the field will start qualifying directly for race one at 10.15 CEST.
