With last year’s 1,973,734 engines, the company produced more than ever before in its history. This record output means that AUDI HUNGARIA MOTOR Kft. continues to be the world’s biggest engine factory.

Audi Hungaria once again demonstrated its ability to perform in 2014: Firstly, the 100,000th automobile to be completely produced in Győr drove off the assembly line; secondly, the company started series production of the third generation of the Audi TT Coupe and the TT Roadster* – the highlight of last year. Since then, those models have also been driving off the assembly lines in Győr, along with the Audi A3 Sedan and the A3 Cabriolet. The annual capacity of automobile production is 160,000 units.

The company has invested over €900 million in plant expansion and has created approximately 3,000 new jobs. Including its suppliers and service providers, Audi Hungaria secures the employment of more than 25,000 people.

There is a focus on environmental activities as well as promoting the future generations at Audi’s site in Hungary. Continuous further training and development therefore pay off. That is shown by the results of the study by the international student organization AIESEC and the consulting company Aon Hewitt. In 2014, they selected Audi Hungaria for the sixth time in succession as “the most attractive employer in Hungary.”
